Omniscient Vault is designed to be privacy-first. We collect minimal data:

- Uploaded files: Stored on our servers to provide the hosting service. Files are assigned random identifiers with no link to your identity.

- Server logs: We may temporarily log IP addresses and request metadata for abuse prevention and security purposes. These logs are automatically purged after 30 days.

- Theme preference: Stored locally in your browser (localStorage). Never sent to our servers.

We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or any third-party analytics.

We use collected information solely for:

- Providing the file hosting service (storing and serving your uploaded files)

- Preventing abuse and protecting the service from malicious activity

- Complying with valid legal requests from law enforcement

We do not sell, trade, or share your data with third parties. The only exceptions are:

- Legal compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government request.

- Abuse prevention: We may share IP information with abuse reporting services if our platform is used for illegal activities.

- Uploaded files remain on our servers until manually removed or the service is discontinued.

- We reserve the right to remove any file that violates our terms of service, including illegal content, malware, or copyrighted material.

- We do not guarantee permanent storage. Always keep your own backups.

- DMCA: For copyright takedown requests, email [email protected] with the required information.

- Data access: Since we do not link uploads to accounts, we cannot provide a data export. Your uploaded files are accessible via their direct URLs.

We implement reasonable security measures to protect uploaded files and server infrastructure. However, no system is 100% secure. Do not upload sensitive personal information, passwords, or confidential documents.

The following content is strictly prohibited and will be removed without notice:

- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM)

- Malware, viruses, or other harmful software

- Content that violates copyright or intellectual property rights

- Personal information uploaded without consent (doxxing)

- Any content that violates applicable laws

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
